The “Felicitation and Integrated Paramedical Training Programme” was successfully organized today, at Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute, Lucknow.
The programme was graced by the Director of the Institute, Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, as the Chief Guest, Prof. Vinod Jain, Former Dean Paramedical, KGMU, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Under this Integrated Paramedical Training Programme, 60 Nursing Officers were trained on various important topics, including interpretation of vital signs, crash cart preparation and documentation, preparation of procedure trolleys in the ICU, care of catheters and tubes, prevention of hospital-acquired infections, handover of critically ill patients, basics of mechanical ventilation, fundamentals of blood transfusion, and safe transport of critically ill patients.
On this occasion, the Nursing Officers who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates of appreciation. The objective of the programme was to further strengthen the professional skills, knowledge, and efficiency of the nursing staff.
The event was also graced by the presence of senior officials of the institute, including Prof. Vijendra Kumar (CMS), Dr. Pramod Kumar Gupta (Dean), Dr. Varun Vijay (MS), and Dr. Ayush Lohia (Registrar), along with other faculty members and residents.
The programme was successfully conducted with the valuable contributions of Dr. Madhulika Dubey, Dr. S. Priya, Dr. Ruchi Saxena, Dr. Indubala Maurya, Dr. Anju Dubey, Dr. Abhishek Pandey and Senior Nursing Officers Gajendra and Kartar Singh.
