A Free Health Service Camp Organized on the Occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti.

On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, a Free Health Service Camp was organized today in Village Magahuwan Kala by Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute, Lucknow, in collaboration with National Medicos Organization, Awadh Prant, Sewa Bharti, and Yuvarashtra.
During the camp, various healthcare services were provided to patients from rural areas, including cancer screening, blood pressure (BP) and blood sugar tests, dental check-ups, and breast examination. Free medicines were also distributed to the needy patients. In addition, patients who had previously undergone cancer treatment attended for follow-up check-ups and were provided with necessary medical advice.
The camp was organized in the gracious presence of the Institute’s Director Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, Dr. Ayush Lohiya, Head of Department of Public Health, Village Head (Pradhan) Mrs. Shobha Devi, and Pradhan Representative Mr. Ram Dev Pradhan. The camp was attended by Dr. Abhishek Pandey, Dr. Bhawna, Dr. Umar, Scientist ‘C’ Rohit Singh, Nursing Officer Priya Sachan, and MSW Bhanu Pratap Singh, along with other healthcare staff.
Through this initiative, efforts were made not only to provide quality healthcare services to the rural population but also to raise awareness about health, ensuring early detection and timely treatment of diseases.
