World Health Day 2026: Health Awareness Program Promotes Holistic Well-being at Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute, Lucknow

A special health awareness program was successfully organized on April 7, 2026, on the occasion of World Health Day by the Department of Public Health at Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute, Lucknow. The event was held on the first floor of the OPD building of the institute.
The program witnessed active participation from the Director of the institute, Prof. Madan Lal Brahm Bhatt, Executive Registrar Dr. Ayush Lohia, Medical Superintendent Dr. Varun Vijay, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health Dr. Anshu Singh, along with senior residents, junior residents, nursing officers, and other staff members.
On this occasion, Director Prof. M. L. B. Bhatt addressed the gathering and said, “Health is not limited to the treatment of diseases; it is an integral part of a holistic lifestyle. To stay healthy, it is essential to focus equally on regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, physical activity, and mental well-being. In today’s time, adopting a scientific approach is the only way to effectively combat serious diseases, especially challenges like cancer. Public awareness is the greatest weapon, and such programs play a vital role in building a healthy and empowered society.”
The main objective of the program was to raise awareness among the general public about health and to motivate them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. During the event, experts shared valuable information on various health topics and encouraged people to undergo regular health check-ups.
A large number of people attended the program and received health consultations. The participating doctors and healthcare workers also gave the message, “Come together for health, stand with science,” and urged society to develop a positive approach towards health.
