A Soft Skills Workshop was successfully organized today at Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute, Lucknow, with the objective of strengthening personality development and professional efficiency among healthcare workers.
The program was graced by the Director of the institute, Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and compassionate behavior in the medical profession.
Prof. Vinod Jain, Honorary Professor at King George’s Medical University, attended as the Guest of Honour. He shared valuable insights on the role of soft skills in enhancing patient satisfaction and improving treatment outcomes in healthcare services.
The training program was organized by Dr. Archana Gautam, Assistant Professor, Department of Anesthesia and In-charge of the Soft Skills Workshop, along with Coordinator Raghvendra Sharma, who successfully managed the execution and academic coordination of the event. A total of 30 participants attended the workshop, where they received training on effective communication skills, teamwork, and professional conduct.
The event was attended by Executive Registrar Dr. Ayush Lohia, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Vijendra, Medical Superintendent Dr. Varun Vijay, Dean Prof. Sabuhi Qureshi, along with faculty members, resident doctors, and nursing staff of the institute, who participated enthusiastically. Various sessions focusing on communication skills, professional behavior, team management, and effective patient interaction were conducted during the workshop.
The primary objective of the program was to enhance the quality of healthcare services and strengthen the behavioral and communication skills of medical professionals.
