Free Cancer Screening & Awareness Camp Held at Gopeshwar Gaushala, Malihabad

A free cancer screening and public awareness campaign for Oral Cancer, Cervical Cancer, and Breast Cancer was organized at Gopeshwar Gaushala, Malihabad, by doctors from Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute, Lucknow. The public welfare program was jointly organized by Gopeshwar Gaushala, Rashtra Sevika Samiti, and Suryadev Laxmi Memorial Charitable Trust.
The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness among rural communities and the general public about early detection of cancer, its symptoms, prevention, and the importance of timely treatment. During the program, a large number of people underwent screening. Participants were also educated about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption, the importance of timely screening for cervical and breast cancer among women, methods of self-examination, and the benefits of regular health check-ups.
The event was attended by the Director of the Institute, Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, along with Dr. Pramod Kumar Gupta, Dr. Rumita Singh, Dr. Saumya Gupta, Dr. Anshi, Dr. Abhishek Pandey, Dr. Mansi, Dr. Diksha, Seema and other nursing staff of the institute. The doctors collectively emphasized that early detection of cancer significantly improves the effectiveness and success of treatment.
The program witnessed active participation from local residents, who widely appreciated the commendable efforts of the organizers.
