A voluntary blood donation camp was organized today at the Kalyan Singh Super Specialty Cancer Institute, Lucknow, by Yuvarashtra and the National Medicos Organization, Awadh Province, on the occasion of “National Unity Day” and the 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The camp was organized under the leadership of Dr. Anju Dubey, Head of the Department of Transfusion Medicine. The Director of the Institute, Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, while commemorating Sardar Patel's contribution to nation-building, said that today's day inspires us with the spirit of unity, integrity, and service. All blood donors were given a pledge certificate at the event, and they pledged to donate blood regularly. A total of 20 people, including Dr. Abhishek Pandey, Rohit Singh, Jitendra Mishra, and Sujit Sharma from the institute, donated blood at the camp.
