KSSSCI and CBMR Sign MoU for Collaborative Research and Innovation in Oncology”

Today a MoU has been signed between Centre of BioMedical Research (CBMR) and Kalyan Singh Super Specialty Cancer Institute (KSSSCI), Lucknow for academic and research collaboration between the renowned institutions. Prof. Alok Dhawan, Director, CBMR and Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, Director, KSSSCI ahs signed and exchange the MoU for possible collaboration in the field of oncology research between the institutions, which may lead the world class research and impact for the policy makers and ultimate benefit to the patients. Both the institutions involve their faculties to generate the collaborative research, development of joint projects, and exchange of ideas, which may lead to innovative research. The clinicians of the KSSSCI will interact with the scientists of the CBMR in the field of Proteomics and Genomics research, use of functional MRI for various type of analysis on tissue samples of the patients and may develop better results in the respective area of research also both the organizations will work together in the development AI techniques in radiological imaging using large number of pool data in the department of Radiation Oncology. Similarly, the Dept. of Gynaecology, Surgical oncology and Dentistry of KSSSCI will collaborate with the scientists of CBMR to develop innovative techniques, which may lead to a patent. Both the directors agreed for the brainstorming session to be organized at KSSSCI and CBMR jointly, so that the clinicians and scientists sit together for the exchange of ideas, which may lead to development of protocols for world class joint research.
