KSSSCI Observes International Women’s Day with Awareness Programme on Female Cancers

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, an awareness programme was conducted under the leadership of Director, KSSSCI. All the female faculty, residents and staff assembled in OPD first floor on 08th March 2025 at 11:00AM to celebrate International Women’s Day, to spread awareness about female cancer and also to honour the incredible strength and resilience of cancer patients and survivors. In this programme, Dr. S. Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of General Medicine talked about nutrition and healthy diet, and Dr. Sabuhi Qureshi, Professor & Head, Department of Gynaecological Oncology talked about cervical cancer prevention, HPV vaccination and Pap smear and HPV test and Dr. Rumita Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology talked about breast cancer and self-breast examination. It was attended by female faculty including Dr. Indubala Maurya, Dr. Gitika Pant, Dr. Deepti Mishra, Dr. Shrestha Ghosh, Dr. Rakhi Jain, Senior and Junior Residents, Nursing staff, Hospital attendants, patients and relatives.
