Tribute Meeting and Tree Planting on Kalyan Singh's Fourth Death Anniversary A tribute meeting was held at Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute, Lucknow today, 21/08/2025, to mark the fourth death anniversary of Late Kalyan Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Bharat Ratna. On this occasion, the institute family paid tribute to the late Kalyan Singh's contribution by offering floral tributes to his statue and planting Ashoka and Maulshree trees in his memory. Institute Director, Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, stated that the institute's goal, inspired by the late Kalyan Singh, is to provide modern cancer treatment facilities to the public. The institute is continuously progressing in this direction and is committed to providing world-class medical care to patients. He also assured that the institute will continue to honor the late Kalyan Singh's legacy. A pledge has been made to continue on the path of public service in accordance with Kalyan Singh Ji's ideals and resolutions. "Kalyan Singh Ji's dream was to ensure that the common man receives modern healthcare without discrimination. Today, the Cancer Institute is progressing on that path and in the future, it will become the best center for cancer treatment not only in the state but in the entire country." He informed that to make cancer treatment more effective, several state-of-the-art medical equipment have recently been installed at the Institute. The inauguration of these equipment will enhance both the quality and speed of diagnostic and treatment services at the Institute. At the end of the program, the entire Institute family resolved to move forward on the path of public service to realize Kalyan Singh Ji's ideals and vision and provide the best medical facilities to cancer patients.
