Advanced Radiology Fluoroscopy Machine Equipped with Japanese Technology Arrives at Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute
Lucknow-based Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute has received a state-of-the-art Radiology Fluoroscopy Machine equipped with advanced Japanese technology. Today, the Institute’s Director, Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, performed the unboxing of the machine. The high-tech equipment will soon be made available for patient investigations and various medical procedures.
The machine will facilitate gastrointestinal tract studies, barium studies, orthopaedic and joint-related procedures, as well as urological and gynaecological examinations with greater ease and improved imaging. Women will also be able to benefit from Hysterosalpingography (HSG) testing. In addition, the machine will be highly useful for doctors in surgical guidance and pain management procedures.
On the occasion, Institute Director Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt said, “This advanced fluoroscopy machine is an important step towards providing better and more accurate diagnostic facilities to patients at the Institute. It will help doctors perform complex procedures in a safer and more effective manner.”
Dr. Pramod Kumar Gupta, Head of the Department of Radiology and Dean, said, “This state-of-the-art machine will further strengthen the facilities of the Department of Radiology. It will enable several important diagnostic and interventional procedures to be performed with greater accuracy and convenience, thereby benefiting patients with improved healthcare services.”
On the occasion, Chief Medical Superintendent Prof. Vijendra Kumar, Medical Superintendent Dr. Varun Vijay, Finance Officer Shri Upendra Tiwari, along with other doctors and officials, were present.
