Blood Donation Camp and Wheelchair Donation Programme Organized at KSSSCI, Lucknow

Under the leadership of Dr. Anju Dubey, Head of the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute, Lucknow, a Voluntary "Blood Donation Camp and Wheelchair Donation Programme" was organized under the joint aegis of "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh–Seva Bharati and Samrat Vikramaditya Seva Sansthan."
During the programme, 25 members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh–Seva Bharati and Samrat Vikramaditya Seva Sansthan voluntarily donated blood, and 10 wheelchairs were donated for needy patients.
On this occasion, Director of the Institute, Prof.M.L.B. Bhatt, said that blood donation is a great form of social service. Every healthy individual should come forward to donate blood regularly, as the blood donated by us can save the life of a person in need.
CMS Prof. Vijendra, MS Dr. Varun Vijay, Dean Dr. Pramod Gupta, Executive Registrar Dr. Ayush Lohia, along with other doctors and officials of the Institute, were present at the programme.
From Seva Bharati and Samrat Vikramaditya Seva Sansthan, Organization General Secretary Shri Om Prakash Pandey, Patron Shri Pradeep Singh, President Dr. Narendra Agrawal, Secretary Shri Anand Pandey, Vice President, Seva Bharati Shri Surendra Mishra, along with Shri Vinay Prakash Tiwari, Shri Shashank Mishra, Shri Manish Pandey, Shri Akhilesh Pandey, Shri Vicky Mishra, Shri Dinesh Kapoor, Shri Amit Mishra, Shri Shiv Pandey, Shri Nikhil Singhal, Dr. Ramchandra Rawat, and other office-bearers and volunteers, were present.
The Department of Transfusion Medicine team made a significant contribution to the successful organization of the programme.
