Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute and Dr. RMLIMS, Lucknow MOU Strategic Collaboration to Advance Cancer Care and Research

In a landmark step towards advancing cancer care and research in India, Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute, Lucknow and Dr. RMLIMS, Lucknow (Dr. RMLIMS, Director Prof. C.M. Singh and KSSSCI, Director, Madan Lal Brahma Bhatt) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today on 24 September 2025 to expand oncological services, foster innovation in cancer prevention, diagnostics, treatment and joint community program including vaccine trials on cancer patients. The MoU marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between one of the country’s leading cancer research Institute and one of the premier super speciality medical Institute at Lucknow in the field of teaching, training and research. The partnership is aimed at enhancing clinical, technological and community based capabilities in the field of oncology and its allied health sciences through the exchange of faculties, scientists, research students for collaborative research, and development of novel interventions. Objectives of the MoU: Joint research initiatives focusing on cutting-edge oncological solutions and community based activities Development and deployment of new technologies for early cancer detection and treatment Exchange of scientific expertise and faculties for collaborative learning and innovation Speaking on the occasion, senior officials from both institutions emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing the complex challenges of cancer care. This partnership is expected to bring transformative advancements in patient-centric cancer solutions, integrating medical science with technological innovation and community based programs. This collaboration underlines a shared commitment to improving cancer outcomes and represents a significant step forward in India’s fight against cancer. In this occasion, the Dean, Prof. Sabuhi Qureshi, Executive Registrar, Dr. Ayush Lohiya and Medical Superintendent, Dr. Varun Vijay from KSSSCI and Dr. Vikarm Singh, Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh from Dr. RMLIMS, Lucknow attended the MoU ceremony at Dr. RMLIMS, Lucknow.
